First lego league participation and awards
2016: In April, Kondortech traveled to St Louis to represent Peru in the international FLL Trash Trek robotics competition, and Home Of Condors traveled to Tenerife to represent Peru in the international FLL Trash Trek robotics competition.
2015: After having returned from Qatar in November and preparing for FLL Trash Trek, both Kondortech and Home of Condors competed in the national FLL competition in December. Kondortech was awarded 1st place and Home of Condors 2nd place.
2015: In April, Kondortech traveled to St Louis to represent Peru in the international FLL Learning Unleashed robotics competition.
2014: In November the National Robotic competition FLL. In this national competition, three teams represented Roosevelt and 20 students competed in two different categories. All three teams placed in the top 5.
2014: Kondortech team participated on June 2-7 in the First Lego League (FLL- International Category) at Canada. 2013: November 20th was the National Robotic competition FLL. In this national competition, three teams represented Roosevelt and 20 students competed in two different categories. All three teams placed in the top 5. Kondortech Jr. team, placed 1st. They built and designed a solution against landslides, "Huaycos". This was their first time competing, and they did an excellent job at the event. As part of their award they received Lego equipment valued at $600. Condors team, placed 5th place. This was their first competition. They investigated and researched about earthquakes and how to prepare for them and then made a presentation with a video to present their information. Kondortech team, placed 4th out of 30 teams. They investigated, designed, and created a robot solution for floods. 2012:2012: Kondortech: St. Louis World Championship: Juan Fernando Correa wins the "Junior Coach Award" 2011: Kondortech: First Lego League World Festival in St. Louis Mo, U.S.A. Wins First Place "Champion of Champions Award" First Lego League National Championship - "Food Factor" Challenge earning the right to represent Peru in the World Championship to take place in St. Louis Mo. 2010: Kondortech: Wins First Place "Champion of Champions Award" First Lego League National Championship - "Body Forward" Challenge earning the right to represent Peru in the World Championship to take place in St. Louis Mo. "Smart Move" Kondortech Wins Second Place "Gracious Professionalism" award 2009: Kondortech: First Place First Lego League National Championship "Smart Move" earns the right to represent Peru in Atlanta.
